Kevin and Theresa launched Create Publishing after realizing that the benefits of traditional publishing just didn’t add up to a good ROI. Not only did the traditional publishers take the rights to their books, but also arbitrarily changed costs of products and ongoing author services. Additionally, after self-publishing several books, Kevin and Theresa realized how difficult it was to create and manage all of the intricacies that go into publishing a book. While the rights and the profits remain with the author, self-publishing requires a lot of skill and effort to compete with the quality of traditional publishing excellence.

About The Founders
Kevin Dedmon has been a published author since 2007. He has four books published with a traditional publishing company and three books that are self-published. Kevin has gained valuable insights into the creative process and the practical elements needed for a successful book.
Theresa Dedmon has been a published author since 2011. She published with a publishing company and then self-published two books. She is also the founder and director of Create Academy, which equips and activates all types of creatives around the world.
